warrenao There seem to be two main schools of thought in didj playing: A long wandering drone, versus something much more rhythmic and engaging. Pamela Mortensen consistently delivers on the second style, and that’s one reason I like her work.

about

Didgeridoo, shakers and stomp box are featured in this album of solo didgeridoo pieces. Ta-ka Ta-ka marks a return to blending indigenous instruments with carefully crafted production and effects in five distinctly different pieces. Pamela pulls out all the stops to present didgeridoo in all of its facets from its strong rhythmic drive to its soft and lyrical voice.

Many thanks to those who have supported this and other albums. Your support really means a lot! .
